Family wins High Court battle to overturn will leaving £400k to hairdresser.
Judge tells travelling hairdresser to repay money after Will was altered barely 2 months before death.
MoreIt has come to our attention that some members of the public have recently received fraudulent emails purporting to be from Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors. Specifically, these emails have advised the individual recipient that he or she is a beneficiary under a Will.
These emails are not from Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors and are in no way associated with us. Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors will never send emails asking for information of this nature.
Scams such as these will often originate by email, and usually involve offering a large sum of money to the victim (such as an inheritance, unclaimed bank funds, lottery wins, or even loans), either in return for paying a modest sum, often referred to as transaction fees or brokering costs or requiring the victim's identity details. Key to the scam is the entering into any form of communication with the fraudster.
If you receive such emails, we stronlgy recommend that you do not reply to them or click on any of their links. We would advise you delete these emails immediately.
If you have replied giving them any information, please contact your local police.
Please note that we may not respond to individual enquiries about emails of this nature and that neither Pearson Hinchliffe nor any of its members, employees, or consultants will be responsible for any losses incurred by any such scam.
